I thought I'd post our schedule since I'm sure one day we won't remember anything.
Schedule:
6am: feeding (3.5-5.5oz) then Todd's off to work.
-9:30am: play time, possibly a 30 min cat nap sometimes longer
9:30: Meagan comes and we try to avoid baby mayhem until their bottles are ready.
10am: feeding and diaper change
-1:30: normally this is their big daytime nap and they sleep pretty much the whole time...normally
2pm: feeding and diaper change. Meagan leaves at 2:30.
-5:30: playtime, short nap (45 mins to an hour)
4:30/45: todd gets home!!!
6pm: feeding diaper change
7: bedtime
10: feeding
Then they should sleep through the night but recently we've been having some wake ups around 2, 3, and 4. Hopefully it will get better soon!
As exhausting as it all is I have to admit sometimes when they sleep for long periods during the day I have an urge to wake them up and play with them; but i don't...ever.

Evi is drooling so much she has to wear a bib all the time. Maybe it's the early stages of teething but I think it too early for that. She is always smiling and showing off her gums. Always! She smiles when she first wakes up, when she's eating, when she's on the changing table, seriously all the time. She's a very happy baby. She even started giggling, which is adorable. Evi was the first to pick up her head when on tummy time and now she couldn't care less about it. She can do it; she just doesn't want to. She's over it. She can also roll over but doesn't try too often since she now hates tummy time. She has the widest, most inquisitive eyes that make you wonder what she's really thinking all the time.![]() |

Max was the first to roll over this month! He loves it. Every time you put him on the floor he instantly rolls over and over and over. He even tries when he's in his bouncy chair so we've had to start strapping them in. He has definitely found his hands and occasionally stares at them in amazement while accidentally hitting himself in the face and then looking very confused about what just happened. He grabs at toys and plays with both hands now. He loves his giraffe blanket and cuddles with it when he naps in his bouncy. Max seems to be the first to figure things out and I swear he tells his siblings how to do it or what he just learned because they always do whatever it is later that same day or very soon after! Max loooves his brother and sister. He will stare at them until they look back at him and then babble babble babble with a huge grin.Weighing in at 10lbs 11oz
Connor loves music. He gets very serious and still when the music starts then get so overly excited that it's hilarious. He moves his whole body around (I guess that's dancing?) and gets a huge smile that won't go away, even if he was just about to fall asleep. His favorite activity is the rainforest mat. He stares at everything with such amazement and excitement like it really is the absolute coolest thing in the world. Connor is also a rolling machine. Both the boys love being on the floor rolling around, practicing lifting their head, bumping into each other...such boys. All of them are babbling like crazy and we've yet to crack the code but we like to think we have some insight. We assume they are the smartest babies in the world and when they say "agoo" that means "i love you" and "aghee" means "Maggie". Yep smartest babies ever! :)
| Connor, Max, Evi...more crabs! |
Last night they went to their first Rapids game! (well, just the tailgate but that was a pretty big deal). Uncle Mike proudly carried Connor in a baby bjorn and Evi and Max were totted around by mom and dad. Then on the way home they got the biggest kick out of us saying "Go Rapids!" It was evidently hilarious! I think they like saying "gggg".
We did get to go up to the mountains to see the leaves changing before the snow came. It was really beautiful but probably a little much for 4 month old triplets. We planned a whole picnic, brought the dog, thought we'd walk around on an easy trail. Not so much. It ended up being a quick photo shoot, a long drive home, lunch while driving, screaming babies on mountain roads, and a sad, confused dog. But hey we got some good photos!
