le mile hauts triplés: 8 month b day today!!!

8 Months old TODAY!!!!

Here are some adorable pics! I'll add some stories and thoughts in a bit but wanted to make sure this was posted on their actual birthday.

This month has been so much fun! They are at such a great age and are always doing something new. Now that they can sit up all by themselves it's a whole new world. They are interacting with each other a lot more and are so curious about everything. We love just watching them and seeing how their little brains work. They've moved beyond just staring at their hands and now stick their hands everywhere and in everything. Evi loves to 'pet' her brothers hair and sometimes pull it. I think she's confused as to why they have hair and she doesn't.

This is a very typical morning these days.

They've had soooo many 'firsts' this month it's hard to remember what happened. They sit up on their own, they are sooooo close to crawling, they are eating all kinds of solids, the boys had their first at home hair cuts, and they graduated to bumbo bath time all together and to their new big kid stroller!

Grandma Templeton came to visit again and brought a bunch of cute matching outfits! Matchy match!! She was also here to help when Todd went to DC for a quick work trip. Connor said "dadadadadada" and sometimes very clearly just "dad" the entire time. I don't think he knows what he's saying but he looooooves saying it. I did hear Max utter momma once and he can also say dadadada but not as constant as Connor. Evi babbles gibberish. It still sounds like arabic to me.

(Meagan is here for the 10:30 and 2:30 bottle and we are so lucky to have her!!)

6:30-7:00 am – Wake up, eat bottle.
7:00 am – 8:15 am – Play
8:15 am – 9:00 am – Nap
9:00- am – Eat breakfast (fruit and/or cereal)
9:30 am – 10:30 pm – Play
10:30-11:00 am–Bottle
11:00 pm – 2:00 pm – Nap
2:00 pm – 2:30 pm – Play
2:30-3:00 pm –Bottle
4:00 pm -4:30 pm – Cat Nap
4:30 pm –Eat dinner (veggies)
5:00 pm – 6:30pm – Play
6:30-7:00 pm – Bottle, then Bed!

Evi is really living up to her name (the boss). She steals whatever toys she wants and always wants whatever the boys have. This will probably become way more of an issue later on. uh oh!!
