Last week I went to the hospital for my routine ultra sound and my cervix had shrunk considerably and I was having contractions but had no idea! The admitted me to the hospital for the day to monitor me and give me drugs to 'calm' my 'irritable' uterus. Luckily they sent me home with some drugs but I'm on strict bed rest and can only get up to go to the bathroom. It doesn't help that it's finally spring time and it's absolutely gorgeous out! Todd allowed me a few seconds on the balcony to take some pics but now back in bed. It sounds silly to complain about bed rest but it really is harder than you'd think. I have to rely on Todd for everything!! Poor Todd. He's great though and taking care of Maggie, cooking all the meals, cleaning, and whatever else he's doing downstairs. He's awesome!!! He also gave me a beautiful necklace for mothers day today. so sweet! Other good news is that I passed my glucose test this time so I don't have to worry about Gestational Diabetes. So bring on the ice cream!!!
Last week we also had our baby shower at the Wynkoop. It was so much fun and not your typical baby shower at all. So many people came and it was so great to see everyone. Erin, Jess, Linnea, Amanda, and Mel did an amazing job planning it. Here are some pics from the shower.

The lovely ladies (minus Mel) that threw the best and perfectly timed shower ever!
We had to change three doll diapers in a minute but Todd couldn't put his beer down and I had to be on the phone. We failed miserably! But I challenge anyone to that contest in 6 months. We'll probably be able to do it with our eyes closed.

The Wynkoop made a special beer just for the Triplets; a frikin (small batch).
|
5 babies between the two of us!

too cute!
