I've been having ups and downs. One day I look really stable with no contractions and the next I'll have one every 5 to 6 minutes. No one seems to concerned around here though. I am on procardia and terbutaline pills every two hours even throughout the night. The 'terb' as they say, makes me really shaky and my heart races but it helps calm the contractions. One nurse today said, "wow, you're reading. That's really good. Sometimes the terb makes peoples vision so shaky they can't read!" So at least I'm not there yet. They just keep giving me the same two lines when I ask when these babies might come... "everyone is different" and "the longer they stay in the better". BUT today Dr. Perreco came in and said he wants to give me two more booster shots for the lung development (I guess they wear off by two weeks) on Sunday or Monday. So that would mean I would potentially-possibly-maybe deliver somewhere two weeks after the shots!! So around 32 weeks. Sounds good to me!
I am a little nervous about everyone in this hospital going out of town for memorial day so I really hope I don't have them till my doc gets back on Wednesday. That's my biggest goal right now....well that and reaching 30 weeks this Sunday.
My mom's coming to wheel me down to the 'other' cafeteria that supposedly has amazing pizza. That will be my big adventure for the day!
